Using Digimed Telemedicine is just like seeing a doctor face-to-face, but instead of physically going to a clinic, you are getting care and attention in the comfort of your own home. You can even get referrals and e-prescriptions at the touch of a button.

Signing up is quick and easy, via website or by downloading smartphone application on Google Play or Apple App Store. Your account will be secured with multi-factor verification and authentication.

Digimed lets you see a doctor at a time and place that’s convenient for you. Take control and choose from three types of consultations on offer.

What happens after the consultation?
After each visit, the healthcare professional will complete a personalised treatment plan including EHRs, e-prescriptions, sick leave certificate & medical notes, referrals when appropriate.

What is Digimed?
Digimed is a healthcare software platform provided as Software as a Service (SaaS). It gives registered users access to the Digimed platform and its supported digital healthcare features.
Digimed is a software service provider and is not itself a medical service provider.
How can I access Digimed?
You can access Digimed using the Digimed mobile app on supported Android and iOS smartphones and tablets.
Digimed can also be accessed through the web using a laptop or computer with an internet connection.
What happens during an online consultation on Digimed?
Before starting an online consultation, whether using Doctor On Demand or a scheduled appointment, Digimed will ask you to provide information about the reason for your visit.
You can describe your symptoms and upload relevant images or documents, such as blood test results or other medical information related to your consultation.
Can I choose my own doctor on Digimed?
Yes. Digimed allows patients to search for doctors based on criteria such as name, specialisation, consultation channels, and languages spoken.
Patients can also view available doctor ratings and prices when selecting a healthcare professional through the Digimed platform.
How secure and confidential is my health information on Digimed?
Digimed is designed to protect the privacy and confidentiality of patient information.
Data stored on the platform is encrypted and handled in accordance with applicable GDPR requirements.
How do I access my health records after a consultation?
Once your doctor completes your Health Record, Digimed will send you a notification.
Your medical records will then be stored within your Digimed Health Wallet under the diagnoses section, where you can access your available health information.
How do I receive an e-prescription through Digimed?
If your doctor prescribes medication following a consultation, you will receive a notification through Digimed.
Your e-prescription can then be accessed from the Prescription menu in the Digimed application.
Should I use Digimed in a medical emergency?
No. Digimed is not intended for medical emergencies.
Serious healthcare concerns requiring urgent medical attention should be treated through the appropriate emergency services.
